Visiting Our Garfield Heights Chiropractic Practice

You will immediately feel at home the moment you walk in the door.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel
at home.

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

  • First Visit. To find out if we can help you, we ask questions and listen.
  • Second Visit. We’ll report what we found and answer all your questions.
  • Regular Visit. A typical visit will be much shorter, but just as important!

Your First Chiropractic Visit

Upon scheduling with our office we will offer to e-mail or fax initial paperwork before coming in so that once you arrive you can be brought back much quicker. You can also print that same relevant paperwork by clicking on the Online Forms page of this website. The initial paperwork includes basic demographic information, health history, and if applicable accident/injury information. If you choose not to get the initial paperwork before coming in it can take 10-20 minutes to fill out, depending upon how complicated the presenting concern is. We will also ask for a photo ID, this is especially important in today’s world to limit those who attempt to fraudulently use someone’s health insurance or credit. Once brought back we will do a face-face doctor consult to get your history and the specific details about why you are presenting. This is critical to proper assessment. Once the consult is completed a focused, hands-on physical examination will be performed. After which, and if necessary, x-rays will be taken. Our initial impression as to whether we can help will be conveyed at that point. If your specific issue requires additional testing such as an MRI before beginning any treatment we can help you get it quickly. You will then be rescheduled as soon as the next day. From start to finish expect to spend
60 minutes.

Your Second Visit

A further explanation of your exam and x-rays will take place. People hate when a doctor takes x-rays and then don’t even take the time to explain the x-rays that were taken! Then the most important part. The tailor made treatment plan that best addresses your condition/concern will be discussed in detail and then implemented immediately with your consent. At this point you should bring up and ask questions/ concerns that help better understand what is going to be done. Before leaving it is common to have to sign additional documents regarding aspects of your care at the office. From start to finish expect to spend up to 60 minutes, typically less.

A Typical Office Visit

Once you begin presenting for implementation of your prescribed treatment plan visits can range from as little as 15 minutes to as long as 60 minutes. However, almost all of that time is now dedicated to the chiropractic treatment itself.
